Windows Server 2016 RDP Winlogon Failure - Wyse 3040 ThinOS 8.6_810

Hello all!For several years now we have been experiencing a problem with connecting via RDP on Wyse 3040 thin clients.
The essence of the problem is that about once a week (maybe a little more often or a little less often) the terminal server begins to refuse every connection attempt.
When this happens, a repeating error 4005 appears in the server logs - "Winlogon service quit unexpectedly".
The problem can only be solved by rebooting the terminal server.
The problem began to appear less frequently after USB port forwarding was disabled in WMS, but did not completely disappear. Before turning off USB forwarding, this error occurred several times a week.We use a terminal server based on Windows Server 2016, but in test mode we tried deploying Server 2019 (clean installation, without old group policies and other things) - this did not solve the problem.
If anyone has an idea how to solve this problem, I would be very grateful.Thank you!

ThinOS 8.6 reached end of development in 2021, and as of January 2024 is the end of life and end of support.  I would suggest you test updating some devices to ThinOS 2311, validate functionality, and determine if it alleviates the issue.

The RDS client in ThinOS 8 was a WYSE custom built RDS client which was quite dated.  The RDS client in ThinOS 9 (2311) is the Mircosoft-provided AVD/RDS SDK client and is modern.  While there are some differences due to the change in client, for the majority of customers functionality is the same, and supported.
