How do I hook up external monitors?
I have Alienware R3 I bought a year and a half ago. Is it possible to hook up an ultrawide monitor and possibly an additional regular HD monitor to this laptop? I thought there might be some sort of docking station I could use to accomplish this as I would also like to use the monitors with my work laptop, an HP Elitebook.

It is a 17 R3. Is that what you mean? The only other number I see that looks like a model number would be P43F.

Yes, you will be able to do it. The system has a display port and an HDMI port you can use to connect monitors.
