Alienware 500 system issue
Due to a power failure during a windows upgrade, I am unable to access the windows system. Dell bootup works but the windows will not accept any of my passwords for log in. I have tried to reinstall the the system os but for some reason I am unable to. What would you suggest to correct this issue. I think its just a corrupted windows OS. My system is out of warranty.

Password aside, if you can not reinstall Windows due to the drive may be corrupted, replace the old drive with a new SSD. That should help to resolve the issue of Windows installation.
Forum Mod may need the exact system model to update thread title.

I have never heard of an "Alienware 500"? If it has a Service Tag, enter it HERE and tell us the model. Do not post the private Service Tag out here in public.
